I dove into the depths of the ocean, guided by Ray Bradbury's evocative prose, to bring to life a sea creature that embodies the strength and mystery of the depths. This illustration, inspired by the captivating Chapter I of "The Golden Apples of the Sun," features a sea monster whose roar is so powerful it shakes the ocean.

Using Krita software, I have created a colossal creature, whose dimensions defy the imagination. His mouth, open in a deafening roar, dominates the composition. A fleshy tongue vibrates with the force of its roar, creating waves that spread through the water.

A tribute to science fiction

With this illustration, I seek to capture the essence of Bradbury's science fiction: the ability to evoke intense emotions through powerful images. The sea monster is more than just a creature; It is a symbol of the unknown forces that lurk in the depths of the ocean and in the darkest corners of our imagination.
