On this occasion, I have immersed myself in the aquatic world to introduce you to our Jerry, an aquatic turtle of the species Trachemys scripta elegans. Through digital painting, I wanted to capture its essence and share with you the fascination I feel for this reptile.

Choosing digital painting

Digital painting offers me infinite flexibility to experiment with colors, textures and compositions. Each virtual brushstroke allows me to adjust and perfect my work until I reach the desired result.

The composition

The composition of the work focuses on Jerry's body. His eyes, full of curiosity, seem to look directly at the viewer. The background, blurred and with greenish and earthy tones, evokes the environment in which it lives.

The expression

I have sought to convey an oil painting, capturing the colors of Jerry's skin, eyes and scales. However, I also wanted to add a touch of expressiveness to the look, so that the viewer can connect emotionally with the animal.
