Design of a cape fan and hotend for the Ender 3 V2 3D printer

The Ender 3 V2 is a popular and versatile 3D printer that offers excellent value for money. However, one of the aspects that can be improved is the design of the cape and hotend fan.

The custom design is based on the following modifications:

  • Layer Fan: The layer fan is mounted at a 90° angle relative to the heated bed. This allows it to take in fresh air directly from the environment, avoiding hot air that accumulates around the hot bed.

  • Hotend fan: The hotend fan is mounted horizontally in the direction of the Y axis. This reduces fan clogging and improves airflow around the hotend.

The custom hotend and cape fan design is a great way to improve the performance of your Ender V2 printer with PLA materials. With this design, you can achieve faster and higher quality prints.
